Welcome Your New Employees With a CSR Event!
There is a continual war on talent. Employers want to recruit and retain the best employees they can.
One way, according to a recent Benevity Study, is by incorporating employee volunteering into the company's calendar. Benevity's report shows that employees who participate in corporate purpose programs are 52% less likely to leave their company.
If you would like to expose your employees to volunteering early, considering offering volunteer activities during the onboarding process. To make this seamless for your company, we have created a "mentored" volunteer option.
What is a Mentored Volunteer Event?
Give To Get provides a brochure of volunteer programs that align with your CSR pillars and time constraints. Once you have selected a program, we provide all project materials and supplies including printed instructions, signage, and a set-up toolkit for the event leader. We also assist you in finding a dedicated nonprofit partner and providing shipping labels to ensure that all donations reach the nonprofit in a timely manner.
Although hosting an event of this nature may seem intimidating, we also offer consultation with one of our social impact project leaders.
Onboarding Includes Interns.
Recruiting top talent starts early. That's why we are pleased to offer events for your incoming intern classes as well. In the past, we have supported AT&T, Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, and Optum as they've welcomed intern classes. This is especially important for Generation Z, which is most likely to demand — both as consumers and employees — that companies engage in corporate social responsibility.
Volunteering Options.
Although we offer programs that support a wide range of interest areas, we have found that collaborative programs, such as making blankets for homeless youth or building nesting boxes and bee hotels can help foster positive communication among teams.
Contact our business development team today to discuss these options.
