Engage Your Meeting And Events Attendees In New Ways

Meeting attendees work to end food insecurity in the Boston area during a break.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world’s largest meeting and event industry association worldwide, recently unveiled its Summer Meetings Outlook, a quarterly report that identifies current industry trends, innovations, and outlooks.

This year, MPI predicts that the meeting and event industry will see a return to stability that has been missing since the pandemic began. In fact, 81% of those surveyed by MPI anticipate favorable business conditions for the year ahead.

“In-person meetings are back,” says meeting planner Alicia Schiro, owner of Aced It Events in New York City. “As long as the large conferences are back — and there are several taking place in all industries — we will see more companies meeting in person.”

If you want to host in-person volunteer activations as part of your conference, Give To Get can help. We offer a wide range of event types, including:

If you’re unsure as to whether you're ready to bring meeting attendees together in person yet, we have hybrid options available as well.

These are essential for those who have not declared a “return to normal,” want to cut costs, or are tired of the limited opportunities to engage remote attendees.

Instead of using a limited catalogue, our team matches the causes that your clients care about with the most impactful nonprofits in your area. We also evaluate nonprofits' seasonal needs. We know, for example, when nonprofits that seek to serve our unhoused neighbors start to need warm-weather items (sunscreen and sunglasses) or when food pantries and education-based nonprofits are most likely to experience the most need.

We also work with these nonprofit partners to ensure that they will be approved by your clients' corporate social responsibility teams or, if these teams already have nonprofits that they want to work with, we develop best-in-class projects with them to meet both your clients' — and their — needs.
