Meet Charlotte: Social Impact Programs Manager, UK Team
For the past 25 years, Give To Get’s founders have put purpose in motion by defining, developing, and deploying social impact programs and campaigns for corporations, nonprofits, and others.
But, as the purpose industry starts to accelerate to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to introduce some of the team members who are responsible for the behind-the-scenes work!
Charlotte Gormely, one of our UK-based team members, sat down with us recently to discuss why she chose to work in the social impact space, the causes that she supports, and the best part of her work.
Q: Why did you want to work in the social impact space?
To work in a job that focuses on society, people, and causes is important to me. This work gives me a deeper understanding of the social issues our community faces and how we, as individuals and companies, can support communities to make the world a better place.
Q: How do you contribute to the community in your free time? Are there causes that you champion or initiatives that you’re particularly passionate about?
In addition to volunteering in my community, I support a few different charities, including The Hygiene Bank. They are a grassroot charity that tackles hygiene poverty. Basic hygiene products (deodorant, shampoo, soap, and toothpaste) should not be a privilege or a luxury. Every time I go shopping, I double up on a few hygiene products and place them at the donation point. Items that are being collected as well as drop off locations can be found on the charity’s website.
Q: What is the best part about your role at Give To Get?
I am a people person. I love working alongside colleagues that are like minded and passionate about what they do. Through the various social impact programs, we are able to meet many fantastic people and see how mobilizing employees can make a real difference in the community.

A cause-agnostic company, we create programs that support healthcare workers, first responders, teachers and their students, military service members, and many others! We also offer programs that work to end poverty, climate change, and various inequalities.
